Xiaomi introduces 15T series smartphones, equipped with Leica camera and 5500mAh battery, know the price

Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro launched: If you are thinking of buying a smartphone, then this news can prove to be very positive for you. Actually, Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro were launched on Wednesday, September 24, during the company's global launch event in Munich. 

Both these phones come with MediaTek Dimensity processor and triple rear camera setup co-engineered with Leica. Xiaomi 15T Pro has a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED LIPO screen, MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset and a 5,500mAh battery. 

Whereas, Xiaomi 15T has MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra processor and 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 sensor. Now let's know about their price and specifications.

Specifications of Xiaomi 15T Pro

The Xiaomi 15T Pro features a 6.83-inch 1.5K (1,280×2,772 pixels) AMOLED LiPO screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 447ppi pixel density, and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. 

The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and claims to deliver 3200 nits of peak brightness. The phone runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2.

The Xiaomi 15T Pro is powered by a 3nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. 
It packs a 5,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone measures 162.7×77.9×7.96mm and weighs 210g.

In terms of cameras, the Xiaomi 15T Pro features a Leica-branded triple rear camera unit with Leica Summilux optical lenses. The camera unit includes a 50MP Light Fusion 900 sensor with OIS and an f/1.62 aperture, a 50MP telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom and OIS, and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. 

A 32MP front camera is provided for selfies and video calling.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 6, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, NavIC, and a USB Type-C port.

1. The standard Xiaomi 15T's display supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. This phone offers the same software, display, and front camera as the Xiaomi 15T Pro, and it also has the same IP rating. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
2. In terms of camera, the Xiaomi 15T features a Leica-engineered triple camera setup, which includes a 50MP primary camera (ƒ/1.7), an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens. With a focal length range of 15mm to 92mm, this camera setup is excellent for both landscape and portrait photography. A 32MP front camera is provided for selfies and video calling.
3. The Xiaomi 15T comes with the Xiaomi AISP 2.0 imaging system, which can improve color, depth, and contrast. For power, the phone packs a 5,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.

The Xiaomi 15T Pro is priced starting at GBP 649 (approximately Rs. 77,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 12GB + 512GB and 12GB + 1TB configurations are priced at GBP 699 (approximately Rs. 83,000) and GBP 799 (approximately Rs. 99,000). It is available in Black, Grey, and Mocha Gold colour options.

The standard Xiaomi 15T is priced at GBP 549 (approximately Rs. 65,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 512GB storage variant can also be purchased for GBP 549 (approximately Rs. 65,000). It is available in Black, Grey, and Rose Gold color options.
