Step 1: First, obtain Temporary Permanent Residence and live legally in the country for five years.

Step 2: Prepare all the required documents including – valid passport, residence permit application form, rent agreement, proof of residence, photo, birth certificate, health insurance, German language certificate, credit history, marriage certificate (if applicable)

Step 3: Prepare and submit the application by making an in-person appointment at the local provincial government authority or immigration office.

Step 4: Provide biometric data (fingerprints etc.) at the time of appointment.

Step 5: Pay a processing fee of approximately €210 (approximately ₹21,733).

Step 6: Once your application is approved, you will be issued a Permanent Residence Card.
