News - (UP News) Now, the administration has begun work on a link road project to connect Uttar Pradesh to other cities. Land in 13 villages in the tehsil area has been identified for the construction of this link expressway.

Farmers will get this much compensation
As the land acquisition process begins, a temporary ban has been imposed on the buying and selling of land in these villages. There are plans to improve direct connectivity to Farrukhabad via a link road.
Farmers will be compensated four times the circle rate of their land during the acquisition process, to avoid any disputes with them over their land.
Instructions issued to advocates
The District Magistrate stated that upon publication of Section 7, the sale of selected land in 13 villages within the tehsil area was prohibited. The Revenue Department has been strictly instructed to strictly enforce the registration orders.
Now, after obtaining permission from the District Magistrate, anyone in these villages can sell or purchase land. Instructions have been issued to all advocates in this regard from the Registry Office.
Advocates say that no deed will be presented at the Deed Registry Office without the District Magistrate's permission. The DM says that in a few days, the land selected in 33 villages of Sadar will be published for acquisition.

The villages where land purchase for this new expressway (UP New Link Expressway) has been banned include Rampur Jograjpur, Turkhata, Jagatpur, Chitrakoot, Amberpur, Bilalpur, Gandhi, Kanchanpur, Sherakhar Nagla Ghagh, Ujramau Nayagaon, Ghazipur and Sabalpur.
