Railway line will be extended
The Uttar Pradesh New Rail Line Project will expand the railway line, spanning 81.17 kilometers. The work is divided into three phases. According to the project, the line will provide an alternative route for trains traveling from Gorakhpur to Varanasi and Lucknow.

The North Eastern Railway in Uttar Pradesh is starting work on the Sahjanwan-Dohrighat new rail line. The first phase of the project will consist of a 32.95 km line from Sahjanwan in Gorakhpur to Bansgaon.
12 stations will be built
Twelve stations will be built on the new railway line in Uttar Pradesh. Four of these will be halt stations. Seven crossing stations will also be built. The necessary land has already been acquired for the first phase of the project.
A new expressway will be built in MP, with land acquisition in three districts, reducing the distance between the two cities by 55 kilometers.

Under the project, 185.78 hectares of land has been acquired in the second phase, from Bansgaon to Barhalganj. Additionally, 12.82 hectares of land will be acquired for the third phase, from Barhalganj to New Dohrighat. The construction of the railway line will also provide employment to thousands of people.
