Good news for farmers, millet registration begins, October 10 is the last date
If you're a farmer and want to sell your sorghum or millet crop at the government's support price, this article is for you. The government has opened six registration centers in the district for the purchase of sorghum and millet in the year 2025-26. The last date for registration is October 10, 2025, so hurry and ensure you get the right price for your crop.

All these centers will be open on all working days. Farmers are advised to visit their nearest center and register within the stipulated date.
Online and offline registration methods
Farmers can register for free at Public Service Suvidha Kendras, District Panchayats, and Tehsil offices. Registration is also possible through authorized MP Online kiosks, CSCs, Public Service Centers, and private cyber cafes. A fee of only ₹50, as prescribed by the government, will be charged at private centers.
Modern farmers can register themselves from the comfort of their homes through the MP Kisan App or e-Uparjan Portal ( www.mpeuparjan.nic.in ).

For online registration, download MP Kisan App or visit https://mpeuparjan.mp.gov.in/euparjanmp/MPeUparjan/Home.aspx .
Fill in the land details, crop type (Jowar/Millet), bank account etc. in the registration.
After registration, the farmer's name will be included in the procurement list and he will be eligible for purchase.

How to avail the benefits of the support price scheme?
Only farmers who register on time will be eligible for purchase at the support price. This government-managed scheme operates through a completely transparent and digital process.
Farmers who have registered on time will have their produce payment directly transferred to their accounts within seven working days.
Administration appeals to farmers
Collector Priyank Mishra urged all farmers to register as soon as possible without waiting for the deadline. This will ensure they receive fair prices for their produce and timely government benefits.
