UP employees get a double gift: Yogi government to give Rs 1,000 crore bonus along with dearness allowance on this day

UP News - Following the central government's announcement, the state government may also offer a Diwali gift to state employees. This gift includes a bonus and increased dearness allowance (DA) rates. According to a report, the bonus will impose an additional burden of approximately ₹1,000 crore on the government treasury.

Breaking News, Digital Desk- ( UP) After the announcement of the central government, the state government can also give Diwali gift to the state employees. 

This gift includes bonus and increased dearness allowance (DA) rates. Around 15 lakh non-gazetted employees can get a maximum bonus of up to Rs 7000. 

The dearness allowance of the employees of the seventh pay scale will increase from 55% to 58%. Apart from this, around 12 lakh pensioners will also get the benefit of increased dearness relief (DR) rate.

Following the announcement of a bonus for central government employees and a three percent increase in dearness allowance (DA), an announcement of a bonus and an increased dearness allowance (DA) may be made before Diwali. Along with this, the dearness relief rate for pensioners will also increase.

The announcement will be made before Diwali.

The number of non-gazetted, work-charge, and daily-wage employees receiving bonuses in the state is approximately 14.81 lakh. 

The government will gift bonuses to all of them before Diwali. The bonus will add an additional burden of approximately ₹1,000 crore to the government treasury.

DA will be 58 percent-

The Dearness Allowance rate for approximately 1.6 million state employees, teachers, and non-teaching staff covered under the 7th Pay Commission is set to increase from 55% to 58%, a 3% increase. 

The government will soon disburse the benefits of this increase. The increase in dearness allowance for employees under the 5th and 6th Pay Commission will be announced later.
