Youth clubs will be formed in every village of Haryana; find out who can join and what benefits they will get

The Haryana government has launched a landmark new scheme to organize youth and integrate them into village development. The goal is to establish 250 youth clubs in each district by December 31, 2025, resulting in the creation of approximately 5,500 new youth clubs across the state. This network, spanning 7,356 villages, will provide a new platform for the empowerment and sense of duty of rural youth.

Mission and Objectives

The program aims to foster leadership, service, and awareness among youth. Youth club members will campaign against social problems like drug addiction, female foeticide, and superstition, and will work to disseminate government programs to every household. These clubs will organize events such as street plays, tree planting, blood donation, cleanliness, and women's empowerment.

How to avail membership and registration benefits?

Membership Age Limit: 15-29 years as on April 1, 2025

10-20 members in each club, of which at least 20% should be from SC/OBC category

All members must be registered on the My Bharat portal

Priority will be given to award winning youth.

Registration of the club under the Haryana Societies Registration Act at a fee of Rs 100

Financial assistance of Rs. 500 per month to active clubs (minimum 1 meeting and 2 activities mandatory)

Oversight, regulations and transparency

In each district, a committee headed by the Deputy Commissioner will oversee the clubs. Only eligible, active, non-political, and development-oriented young men and women will be able to join the club. The club will be formed in the presence of the village sarpanch or panch.

The Directorate has kept the scheme strictly non-political. The objectives are social service, nation-building, and providing youth with opportunities for responsibility and leadership in rural development.
