For now, further extensions have been sought to complete the remaining work. Now, the handover to UPDA is scheduled for November.

The UPDA Executive Engineer stated that the construction agency has requested an extension until November. Consequently, the handover date (Ganga Expressway Process) has been set for November 30th.
The work must be completed by this date. He further stated that vehicles will be able to operate on the Ganga Expressway by December.

The 38-kilometer-long Ganga Expressway will pass through Sambhal district. Two junctions are being constructed. One junction will be in Khirni and the other in Laharwan. Eight toll booths will be built at both junctions. Vehicles will enter and exit through these booths.
The expressway will pass through 17 villages.
The Ganga Expressway will enter the district from Tatarpur Sandal village in the Sambhal tehsil area. It will enter the Badaun district from Nagliya Kather village in Chandausi tehsil. This Ganga Expressway includes 17 villages from Sambhal tehsil and 14 villages from Chandausi tehsil.
Industrial corridor will be constructed
A junction of the Ganga Expressway is set to be built in Khirni. This junction will benefit businesses in the industrial corridor the most. Consequently, industrial corridors are set to be built nearby.
