It's worth noting that 21 important railway stations in the state will now be monitored directly from the North Central Railway (NCR) headquarters. This will significantly benefit passengers.
Activities will take place at these stations-
The GM NCR will monitor activities at 21 major railway stations in the North Central Railway (NCR) zone, including Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Kanpur, Gwalior, Jhansi, and Prayagraj. Direct access to CCTV cameras installed at these stations will now be provided at the NCR headquarters.
Live footage of stations received-
A trial is scheduled for Thursday at the headquarters. The General Manager has viewed live footage from several stations (UP Railway Station). While watching live footage at the junction around 1 p.m., he spotted a female passenger taking a selfie.
Cleaning instructions issued
The General Manager stated that the station's cleanliness should be such that people will cherish it in their memories. He directed the headquarters to clean the area after noticing an empty chips packet lying near the dustbin behind the food stall on platform one. The cleaning will be completed within minutes.
Live monitoring of stations will be done-
Giving information, the General Manager said that this technology not only ensures quick action, but also increases accountability. Live monitoring of major stations is now being done from the headquarters itself.
The NCR CPRO said that every platform, building, and circulating area of 21 major stations, including Prayagraj, Khajuraho, Jhansi, and Mathura, will be monitored every moment from the headquarters.
The process of connecting stations is in the final stage.
Currently, Prayagraj Junction, Kanpur Central, Jhansi, Agra, Gwalior, Chitrakoot, Mathura, Chheoki, Naini, Banda, Khajuraho are already connected to the watch room.
The process of connecting stations like Fatehpur, Shikohabad, Firozabad, Tundla, Hathras, Phaphund, Govindpuri, Manikpur, Mirzapur, Vindhyachal, Aligarh is in the final stages.
The watch room has six large screens and direct access to the CCTV cameras installed at the stations through a computer system.
