Preparations to connect Mau railway line-

To connect the Tadighat-Mau railway line with the Delhi-Howrah main railway section, preparations are underway to lay a new 11.10 km triangular railway line from Bhadaura to Sonwal via Usiya.

For this, the railway will acquire land from 300 farmers covering approximately 100 acres in seven villages. The revenue department of Sevrai tehsil has issued notices to the farmers to receive compensation for their land.

Farmers will benefit-

So far, the documents of 10 farmers have been sent from the tehsil to the district headquarters for payment. The Revenue Department has announced a compensation amount of ₹37,83,530. The farmers of Usiya village will have the largest share of land acquired for the new railway line (New Railway Line UP).

Land of so many farmers will be acquired-

The Indian Ministry of Railways has approved the acquisition of land from 300 farmers covering approximately 100 acres in the villages of Usiya, Dildarnagar, Rakshan, Karma, and Bahuara to build a surface triangulation between Bhadaura station on the Patna-Din Dayal Upadhyaya main line and Karma, the new casing station on the Dildarnagar-Tadighat line at 11.10 km. Notices are being distributed to the farmers of these villages for this purpose.

Land possession will be removed

The land has been vested in the Government of India, free from all encumbrances. The award for the said land was announced on January 22, 2025, and the compensation amount was determined to be ₹37,83,530.

The notice informed the farmers that within 60 days of receiving the notice, their possession of the said land would be removed and handed over to the Ministry of Railways, Government of India.

Therefore, to receive compensation, relevant documents and an affidavit to the effect that the land is mortgage-free, dispute-free and free from all encumbrances should be submitted.

Bank accounts will be transferred-

This will need to be provided to the regional accountant. This will allow the compensation amount, according to your share, to be transferred to your bank account via e-payment.

After verification, notices are being sent to farmers whose land is being acquired by the railways. This will encourage farmers to begin the necessary paperwork to receive compensation. The files of approximately 10 farmers have already been sent to the district headquarters for payment.

New railway line will connect from here-

In line with the Prime Minister's dream project, efforts have begun to connect the Tadighat branch line from the Danapur Railway Division to the Delhi-Howrah main rail section.

A new rail line (UP New Rail Line) will be laid from Bhadaura to Sonwal via Usiya and the new railway crossing at Karma. This rail line will be triangular in shape.

Metro will run on these routes-

According to a railway gazetteer, a railway line via Karma will connect to the Delhi-Howrah Main Railway section near Dehwal village. This will allow trains to run on the Howrah route.

To connect the Tadighat Branch Line to the Delhi-Howrah Main Railway Section, a survey was initially conducted to connect the branch line from Sarhula to the Dildarnagar Bypass railway crossing. However, the project was postponed.

Now, due to the increasing number of houses, the department has prepared a plan to lay a new railway line from Bhadaura to Sonwal.

The metro line will connect here.

The number of trains will increase once the Tadighat Branch Line is connected to the Mau rail section. A new rail line will be laid from Bhadaura to Sonwal to connect trains from Mau to Howrah via Sonwal with the Delhi-Howrah main rail section. Once this line is connected, trains will run directly to Patna-Howrah instead of Dildarnagar.

A new railway line will be laid here.

To connect the Tadighat branch line with the Delhi-Howrah rail section, two teams from the Danapur division's civil department conducted a survey in July 2024 to lay a new 11.10 km railway line from Bhadaura to Dildarnagar Wireless Turn.

The team surveyed from Bhadaura and reached the Bhadaura-Dildarnagar road before the Dildarnagar bypass road. The survey continued up to Wireless Turn.
