Rainfall is expected in 8 districts including Jhajjar, Gurugram and Faridabad, IMD issues yellow alert
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced that light rain and drizzle may occur in eight districts of Haryana due to the influence of a low pressure area formed in the Arabian Sea.

Rain is expected in Jhajjar, Rewari, Nuh, Charkhi Dadri, Faridabad, Gurugram, Palwal, and Mahendragarh on Wednesday. This has brought about a change in the weather, with temperatures showing both increases and decreases.
Sudden rain changes the weather
Light to moderate rain fell in many parts of Haryana on Tuesday, raising night temperatures by about 5 degrees Celsius above normal. Maximum temperatures currently remain below normal, providing some relief from the daytime heat.
According to Dr. Madan Khichad, head of the Department of Agricultural Meteorology at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana University in Hisar, the weather will remain variable for the next two to three days.
Chances of rain and cold in the coming days
According to the IMD, light rain is expected in 6 to 8 districts by October 2nd, while moderate to light rain is expected in approximately 12 districts on October 3rd.
The rain will bring a cooling effect. Several major cities in the state, such as Rohtak, Sonipat, Faridabad, and Gurugram, are also expected to experience heavy rain.
Yellow alert issued, instructions to take precautions
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain, specifically on October 1st, and has instructed residents to exercise caution.
Rain is expected to return after October 5th. During this time, it is essential to follow advanced weather forecasts and local alert systems.
