In Haryana, BPL card holders will get cheaper mustard oil from November, see the new rates
To provide financial assistance to poor families, the Haryana government has announced new fixed rates for mustard oil for BPL and Antyodaya Anna Yojana eligible families in the month of November 2025.

Now eligible families will be able to get 1 liter of fortified mustard oil for just Rs 30 and 2 liters of oil for Rs 100 from their nearest ration depot.
Responsibility for supply of mustard oil has been assigned to several agencies.
The government has assigned the responsibility of supplying mustard oil to HAFED in 15 districts of the state and to Har-Hith (HAICL) agencies in seven districts. This will ensure that the oil reaches every eligible household on time and at the agreed rates.
Distribution will also be done in Sonipat at fixed rates
District Food and Supplies Controller Manisha Mehra said that only BPL and AAY families with verified incomes will benefit from this scheme. The oil will be distributed through ration depots at the prescribed price.
Relief for the household budget of poor families
Manisha Mehra said that this scheme is extremely useful for poor families, who are no longer dependent on expensive market rates to meet their daily needs. The government's goal is to provide essential goods to poor families at reasonable prices so that they can better support their families.
