News - (UP News) Good news has arrived for UP farmers. Preparations are underway to build a link road in the state. Land will be acquired at higher rates for this link road, and farmers will receive substantial compensation for the land acquisition. Let's explore the location of this link road in UP.

Land will be earmarked for industrial corridor

For your information, 10 hectares of land on the link road from Bijauli village to Kharkhoda has been earmarked for the industrial corridor, which is now to be purchased.

Farmers owning this land on the link road (UP Land Acquisition) will be paid 20 percent more than the normal rate. For this, the district administration is preparing a revised rate proposal, which will be sent to UPDA for approval. After approval, the farmers will be required to sign the land deed.

It should be noted that land acquisition for the first phase of the industrial corridor being developed adjacent to the Ganga Expressway has stalled.

The state government wants to complete the land acquisition process as soon as possible and allocate it to entrepreneurs, which is why the district administration is under pressure to complete the land acquisition process. The first phase still requires the purchase of 49 hectares of land, for which the administration is making efforts.

11 hectares of land will be purchased

Recently, 11 hectares of land was purchased in Bijauli village, and payment for the same was made to farmers' accounts last Wednesday.

Preparations are now underway to purchase approximately 10 hectares of land on the Bijauli-Kharkhauda link road. According to regulations, land on the link road is valued 20 percent higher than the normal price.

The District Magistrate recently held a meeting with officials to discuss the land purchase. He ordered the ADM Finance to prepare a proposal for land exchange rates. The ADM says the proposal will be prepared and sent to UPDA soon.

So many hectares of land are to be purchased

It should be noted that the first phase of the industrial corridor covers 214 hectares, of which 12 hectares is government land that is being reclaimed. So far, only 165 hectares of land has been purchased and reclaimed. Arrangements for 49 hectares of land remain.
