Land acquisition for the Sahajanwan-Dohrighat railway line in UP will begin in 18 villages; compensation process begins

This project will strengthen the connectivity of many villages and create new employment opportunities.
Compensation payments to farmers
The land acquisition process for the Sahajanwan-Dohrighat railway line in Gorakhpur's Bansgaon tehsil area has been expedited. Farmers have been asked to submit the necessary documents for compensation payment.
Two retired accountants have been deployed in the tehsil auditorium to collect the documents. Under the leadership of Revenue Inspector Ashish Shahi, farmers are being informed via loudspeakers in various villages to submit their documents as soon as possible.
Land acquisition
Sub-District Magistrate Pradeep Kumar Singh stated that land from 18 revenue villages, from Baidauli Babu to Bhainsarani in the Bansgaon tehsil area, will be acquired for the Sahajanwan-Dohrighat rail project. The compensation process has begun.
Farmers must submit the following documents:
a copy of the land records (intekhaap), photocopies of their Aadhaar and PAN cards, a no-dues certificate from the tehsil, a photocopy of their bank passbook, a notarized affidavit addressed to the land acquisition officer, two passport-size photographs, and a receipt stamp.
There will be a boost in the economic and business activities of the state.
The SDM stated that after verification of all documents, the compensation amount will be deposited directly into the farmers' bank accounts. He urged farmers to submit all necessary documents to the Tehsil auditorium as soon as possible so they can receive their compensation on time.
This step will expedite the land acquisition process. This will ensure the completion of the land acquisition process and the timely commencement of construction of the Sahajanwan-Dohrighat railway line, which will accelerate the state's economic and commercial activities.
