Isha Ambani and the Qatari royal family sign a historic agreement, opening a new avenue for world-class education for Indian children

Reliance's Isha Ambani and Qatar Museums have signed a five-year strategic agreement. This initiative will launch "Museum-in-Residence" programs in schools and Anganwadis across India, providing children with opportunities for playful learning. The initiative aims to foster creativity and empower teachers with new technologies, while also breaking the rote learning paradigm.

Reliance Industries and Qatar Museums have recently signed an agreement that could significantly transform school education and the way children learn in India.

Reliance Industries Director Isha Ambani and Qatar Museums Chairperson Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani signed a five-year strategic agreement at a special meeting in Doha.

What is a 'Museum-in-Residence'?

We often see that education is reduced to books and memorization, but this partnership aims to change this mindset. NMACC and Qatar Museums will jointly launch a "Museum-in-Residence" program in both India and Qatar. Simply put, museums will no longer be just places to visit, but also a means of learning.

Under this initiative, experts from Qatar's renowned DADU (Children's Museum of Qatar) will visit India and introduce concepts like the "Light Atelier" for children.

This will be a unique experience for children aged 3 to 7, where they can explore the nuances of science and art through play. The aim is to inspire children to learn through play rather than rote learning.

This campaign will reach not only cities but also village Anganwadis.

The most significant aspect of this agreement is that it will not be limited to expensive schools in Mumbai or other major cities. With the support of the Reliance Foundation, the program is planned to reach rural and remote areas of India.

These world-class technologies will also be used in Anganwadis and community centers. This will directly benefit children who often lack access to modern facilities.

Furthermore, this initiative is not just for children, but is equally important for teachers. Qatar Museums experts will teach Indian teachers and volunteers new tools and teaching methods, enabling them to better guide children in the classroom.

Isha Ambani's vision is so big

During the signing of the agreement at the National Museum in Doha, Isha Ambani emphasized that culture is where imagination begins. She said that the NMACC aims to bring the world's best ideas to India and showcase India's rich heritage to the world.

This partnership is part of the same vision, where education will not be made a burden but a means to realize dreams. Sheikha Al Mayassa described it as a legacy of the "Year of Culture," saying that this initiative will help children become confident and sensitive.

This agreement also aligns with the goals of Qatar's "National Vision 2030," which prioritizes investment in human development.

This joint effort between the two institutions could write a new chapter in India's early childhood education sector in the coming five years.
