America and China will be seen together again, Trump said; TikTok won the election, now the deal with Xi Jinping is sealed!

TikTok deal US China: The ongoing tug-of-war between the US and China over the social media platform TikTok now seems to be reaching a decisive turn. US President Donald Trump spoke with Chinese President Xi Jinping. 

Trump said that their conversation was positive and concrete steps could be taken soon regarding the TikTok deal. This statement comes at a time when data security and political tensions regarding TikTok are constantly in the news. 

Trump said that the two leaders had important discussions on the TikTok deal and they will meet face-to-face at the APEC summit to be held in South Korea in November. Along with this, Trump will visit China in early 2026, while President Xi Jinping will also visit the US.

"I just completed a very important call with Chinese President Xi Jinping. We discussed a number of important issues, including trade, fentanyl, the need to end the Russia-Ukraine war, and the approval of the TikTok deal," Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social.

The Russia-Ukraine war was also discussed

In a social media post, Trump said that issues such as trade and fentanyl were also discussed during the call. He also said that the two leaders agreed that the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine should end. 

He added, "We had a very good conversation. We will talk again by phone. I appreciate the approval of TikTok and I look forward to meeting you at the APEC Summit."

TikTok helped win the election – Trump

Let us tell you that just before speaking on the call with President Xi Jinping, in an interview with Fox News, Trump had said that the US and China are very close to a deal on almost every issue. 

During this, Trump described TikTok as very important in his election campaign. He said, "I love TikTok. It helped me win the election. 

Charlie Kirk said, 'Sir, you should come on TikTok. You will do great.' And as everyone saw, we got incredible support among the youth. This is why we won the election by such a huge margin." He also reiterated that he had the authority to approve the TikTok deal.
