Homemade Cream: Even chapped skin on your hands will become buttery soft, make a cream at home with these 5 ingredients

During winter, the skin of the hands becomes very dry and starts looking like that of an old person or gets scratched, then you can prepare a cream at home with some ingredients which is effective in keeping the skin of your hands and feet soft.

In winter, the skin of the hands is most affected, apart from the face, because this is the part of our body that comes into contact with water the most.

This is why some people's palms also develop cracks, and the skin on the back begins to suffer from problems like shrinkage, scratches, and swelling.

Caring for the face alone isn't enough; it's also important to care for the skin on the hands, because a glowing face, along with healthy skin on the hands and feet, is essential to your overall personality.

In this article, we'll learn about a cream you can prepare at home that will help repair and soften the skin on your hands and feet.

We often say, "Look how beautiful her hands and feet are," but the skin on our own hands and feet looks terrible. The reason behind this is that we pay attention to our face, but neglect the skin on our hands and feet. So, let's learn about a homemade cream that will help keep the skin on your hands and feet soft.

Why make hand cream at home?

You'll find a variety of moisturizers and lotions available in the market, but homemade hand creams are free of synthetic fragrances, parabens, and harmful preservatives that can irritate the skin. They're also more economical. Homemade creams are even more beneficial for those with sensitive skin, as they contain only natural ingredients.

What ingredients will be required?

You will need 2 teaspoons of coconut oil or almond oil (this will nourish the skin, leaving it soft and moisturized). 1 teaspoon of yellow beeswax, which is extracted from beehives.

It's available at grocery stores. It creates a protective layer. Take 2 capsules of vitamin E. These not only increase the shelf life of the cream but also improve skin elasticity, thereby reducing shrinkage.

You will also need two to three pinches of turmeric, which will help repair damaged skin, heal wounds, and improve complexion. 1 teaspoon of glycerin and a few drops of tea tree oil or lavender oil (these oils also benefit the skin and will give the cream a pleasant scent). Essential oils like tea tree and lavender are optional.

How to make cream?

  1. To make the cream, you have to adopt the double boiler method, that is, place another vessel over boiling water, in which you have to melt the wax and coconut oil.
  2. Stir occasionally until everything is completely melted and thoroughly mixed in. Be careful not to cook it.
  3. The second step is to remove the beeswax and coconut oil mixture from the heat and let it cool slightly for 1-2 minutes. Place it on a large plate (brass or copper).
  4. If you have used almond oil instead of coconut oil, then you will only need to melt the wax.
  5. Add essential ingredients like turmeric and vitamin E capsule to the prepared coconut oil and wax and also add glycerin to it.
  6. If you want fragrance, add a few drops of essential oil and mix it well by rotating it in a circular motion.
  7. This will create a smooth texture. Store the cream in a jar and apply it to your hands and feet every night before going to bed.
