Recently, a meeting was held between Tila's consultants and authority officials, where the land acquisition process and strategy were discussed. This step is crucial for the expansion and development of the area.
Under the process, negotiations will begin with farmers for land acquisition in Sector 161. After this, land acquisition for New Noida will begin. New Noida is planned to be spread over an area of approximately 209 square kilometers.
Acquisition will begin in villages located near the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE), including villages like Jokhabad and Sanwali. Temporary offices will also be set up in these villages, where consensus will be reached between farmers and officials.
New Noida will be built on land from 80 villages.
Under the New Noida project, the city is planned to be built on land from 80 villages. In the first phase, land from 15 villages will be acquired, covering 3,165 hectares. The master plan will be completed in four phases by 2041.
In the next phases, 3,798 hectares will be developed from 2027 to 2032, 5,908 hectares from 2032 to 2037, and 8,230 hectares from 2037 to 2041.
40% of the land will be allocated for industrial development -
According to the New Noida Master Plan 2041, 40% of the land in this area will be reserved for industrial development, 13% for housing, and 18% for green areas and recreational activities.
The city, which will be built by combining 80 villages in Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr, will have an estimated population of approximately 600,000.
Emphasis on consent from farmers -
Officials from the authority and the 'Tila' company are in constant negotiations to acquire land for the New Noida Project with the consent of farmers.
Under this transparent process, an average of 200 farmer families in each village will be contacted, based on mutual consent.
This project will accelerate industrial and residential development in the region. New Noida will be developed as a city focused on the environment and green areas, along with modern amenities.
