News, Digital Desk- (UP News) Fencing work on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway has been stalled due to a border dispute. Due to a dispute with farmers, UPIDA attempted to have the land measured, but even after 35 days, the Revenue Department has not been able to complete the process. Due to incomplete fencing, animals are roaming the expressway, posing a risk of accidents.
Another big gift in Uttar Pradesh, after Jewar, now this district will also have an airport.
Due to incomplete fencing on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway, stray animals are climbing over it at any time, making it a challenge for the security team to bring them down.
Vehicles are allowed to travel at a speed of 120 km/h on the expressway, which is controlled from both sides, but due to the lack of cameras, drivers are setting their speeds arbitrarily.
Dense fog and lack of fencing are increasing the risk of accidents. According to a letter from UPIDA Executive Engineer PP Verma, fencing is incomplete at 9 locations, totaling 3.47 meters in length, due to farmers' protests.
This incomplete fencing (Dohariya, Teliyabhar, Majhribhat, etc.) will make it difficult to avoid accidents due to sudden appearance of animals, especially during winter fog when animals are not visible from a distance. To solve this problem, a team from the Revenue Department will conduct measurements with force.

Land acquisition is also in limbo. Locals are creating a ruckus in Malav and Hardattpur demanding a service road, while in Kataha Babu, drain construction is hampered due to incomplete land acquisition.
Fencing work is also stalled at these locations. A letter has been received from UPDA for measurement. Due to incessant rain, measurement could not be done. The measurement will be done as soon as the rain stops.
