UP Expressway: Uttar Pradesh is one of the strongest states in the country in terms of road connectivity. Due to the continuous efforts of the Yogi government, Uttar Pradesh has become the state with the highest number of expressways. Now, the Uttar Pradesh government is going to build another new expressway. The government has announced the construction of a new expressway in the state.

New Expressway to be built here –

The continuously expanding road network in UP will improve the state's connectivity and accelerate its development. The Yogi government is continuously focusing on improving economic activity in Uttar Pradesh.

According to a media report, a plan has been formulated in the UP Cabinet meeting to build a controlled-access Greenfield Link Expressway (New Greenfield Link Expressway) between the Agra-Lucknow Expressway and the Purvanchal Expressway. The government has approved the Greenfield Link Expressway proposal.

A new expressway is being built for this purpose –

An official statement from the state government stated that the proposal for the Greenfield Link Expressway was approved in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The primary purpose of building this expressway is to enhance connectivity in regional corridors. This will boost the state's development.

UP News: A new city will be built on the land of 80 villages in UP.

UP Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' stated that the Gorakhpur Link Expressway will be a crucial part of the state's expressway grid. This new expressway will connect the Agra-Lucknow, Purvanchal, Ganga, Bundelkhand, and Gorakhpur Link Expressways, further strengthening road connectivity in the state.

The 49.96-kilometer-long expressway will cost ₹4,775.84 crore –

The New Greenfield Link Expressway will be 49.96 kilometers long. This expressway will be built with six lanes. It is estimated that the Greenfield Link Expressway may be expanded from six lanes to eight lanes in the future. This road will be based on the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) model. The cost of building this expressway will be ₹4,775.84 crore.

It should be noted that this project is fully funded by the government. This expressway will improve the road network in Uttar Pradesh, providing faster and easier access to every corner. It will also help boost economic and business activity in Uttar Pradesh.
