Today's weather: Three-day rain alert in 12 districts of Haryana, possibility of drop in temperature

Today's weather: Following the return of the monsoon to Haryana, the weather is once again changing. According to the Indian Meteorological Department's forecast, a light rain alert has been issued for Rewari, Mewat, Palwal, Gurugram, Faridabad, and Mahendragarh districts on Tuesday.

Today's weather: Weather experts have predicted light rain with thunderstorms in these districts after noon on Tuesday. In the remaining districts, the weather will remain clear, and temperatures will remain above normal.

Next 48 hours: Rain likely and temperature likely to drop

On October 1, light rain is expected in Charkhi Dadri, Jhajjar, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Nuh, Palwal, Gurugram, and Faridabad. On October 2, intermittent rain is likely in these eight districts and surrounding areas.

On October 3, light to moderate rain is expected in 12 districts of the state—Faridabad, Palwal, Nuh, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Charkhi Dadri, and Gurugram. Following this system, the state will experience mild cold and a drop in temperature.

Current weather and wind direction

Currently, the maximum temperature in many districts of Haryana is hovering around 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 26 degrees Celsius. Humidity persists at night, providing no relief to residents.

This change in weather is being seen due to the formation of a low pressure area in the Arabian Sea and northwesterly winds. Due to these winds, temperatures may drop slightly and the feeling of coldness may increase over the next two to three days.

Opinion of agricultural scientists

Scientists from the Department of Agricultural Meteorology at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, said that after this rain, farmers will have to wait a little longer before harvesting and sowing crops. During this time, moisture in the fields will increase, which could benefit farming.
