Demand for industrial plots
Land will be purchased with the consent of farmers in the new sectors planned under the Authority Master Plan 2041.
This plan allows development projects to be initiated quickly, avoiding the lengthy process of land acquisition laws. Demand for industrial plots is increasing in the Yamuna Authority area.
At the same time, investor interest has also increased among residential, commercial, and institutional investors. Land allocation for several sectors planned in Master Plan 2021 has already been authorized. Now, a large land bank is being developed to allocate land for new sectors under Master Plan 2041.

Authority officials say that the process of acquiring land under the Land Acquisition Act 2013 is lengthy and time-consuming. Therefore, purchasing land from farmers based on mutual consent is a priority. This process is expected to accelerate development work and provide farmers with reasonable compensation.

Currently, the authority is engaged in the process of purchasing land in sectors 5, 8, 8D, 9, 11, 13, 21, 28, and 34. Land from Fazilpur village is being acquired for Sector 11, while Dastampur, Dhudhera, and Ranhera villages are included in Sector 8.
Land from Kalupura and Bhekanpur for Sector 5, Utrawali for Sector 13, Akalpur for Sector 9, and Bhunnataga village for Sector 34 are to be purchased with the consent of land farmers.
The land purchase process is in the final stages.
The land acquisition process for the Film City Project is also in its final stages. Negotiations are underway with farmers for the remaining portions of the Film City in Sector 21, and plans are underway to complete the land transfer soon. Meanwhile, efforts are underway to provide relief to the farmers of Mehndipur village in Sector 28.
Under the Hotel Plot Scheme, the authority will soon pay the difference in compensation to affected farmers in this area. Currently, the land allotment rate in the Yamuna Authority Area has been set at Rs 4,300 per square meter.
