According to the IMD, most parts of Haryana are likely to experience moderate to heavy rainfall on October 5 and 6, with heavy rain warnings in some areas.
Dr. Madan Khichad of the Haryana Agricultural University advises farmers to sow crops keeping the weather conditions in mind—this is especially the best time to sow mustard.
It's worth noting that on Dussehra, rain was recorded in Jhajjar, Sonipat, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Panipat, and Ambala in Haryana.
According to agricultural meteorologists, temperatures are expected to drop as winds shift to the northwest from October 7th.
