News (DA Hike) After the dearness allowance hike for central employees, Uttar Pradesh employees are now awaiting the dearness allowance, which will be implemented in July. 

Important news has emerged regarding the announcement of the July DA for UP employees. Employees (DA Hike In UP) will receive not only 3 percent DA but also arrears for that many months.

DA will directly become 58 percent

Based on the All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) data from January to May 2025, the dearness allowance (DA Hike in July) for Uttar Pradesh employees appears set to increase by approximately 3 percent. According to the data, the DA will increase by a direct 3 percent, bringing it to 58 percent. Currently, it is 55 percent.

DA of UP employees will increase by this much

Following central government employees, the DA for UP employees is expected to increase by no less than 3 percent. Even though the AICPI index remained at 144 in June, the dearness allowance remained at 58.08 percent. 

Now, the dearness allowance for UP employees may soon increase by 3 percent. As soon as the June numbers came in, the DA reached 58. According to reports, the government may announce the dearness allowance in a few days.

Employees will get this much salary

Although the announcement of dearness allowance and inflation relief was made in October, it will be considered effective from July 1, 2025. Along with this, the employees of UP will also be given arrears of 2 months from July till now. 

Currently, this increase in dearness allowance will be done under the Seventh Pay Commission. After this increase in dearness allowance, the basic salary of any employee whose minimum basic salary is Rs 18000 under Level 1 will increase by a total of Rs 540.
